Digital Desk, New Delhi. Several nations not only condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam on Tuesday but also called for action against those who carried out the attack.
US President Donald Trump posted on his social media platform The Truth, “Very disturbing news has come from Kashmir. America stands strongly with India against terrorism. We pray for the souls of those who have been killed and for the healing of the wounded. Prime Minister Modi and the Indian people have our complete support and our deepest sympathy. Our condolences to all of you!”

The initial response from overseas was from Israel. Initially, the Israeli embassy and subsequently Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar condemned the incident as horrific.
Saar offered condolences to the victims of the attack and stated that Israel supports India in the struggle against terrorism. The Ukrainian embassy has stated that they are horrified at the terror attack in Pahalgam. We are attacked by terrorists on a daily basis and condemn terrorism in all forms.

It has caused unbearable hurt when innocent humans lose their lives. Action has to be meted out towards those who assaulted. Argentina’s ambassador to India Mariano Casiano has spoken that his nation stands with India during this period. We stand against all forms of terrorism, extremism and fanaticism. This attack has been condemned by Singapore embassy as well.

Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated she was thoroughly saddened by the terrorist attack in India today, which took many lives. Italy wishes to convey its proximity to the victim families, wounded, Government and all the people of India.

Putin said- determined to step up cooperation in combating terrorism

Russian President Vladimir Putin penned a letter to President Murmu conveying his sorrow and outrage over the terrorist attack. Putin has penned, this heinous crime cannot be justified at all. I hope that the people and organizations behind the attack will be punished. I am determined to enhance cooperation with India in the struggle against any form of terrorism.

The Israeli Embassy and Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar were shocked, referring to the incident as horrific. Saar condemned the loss of lives in the attack and stated that Israel stands with India against terrorism.

The Ukrainian embassy stated that it was shocked to hear about the Pahalgam terror attack. We are a victim of terror attacks daily and we deplore any act of terrorism. When innocent lives are lost, it becomes very painful. Action should be taken against the attackers.

France and Singapore deplored the attack

France’s ambassador to India has stated that it stands with India on terrorism. Argentina’s Indian ambassador Mariano Casiano stated that his nation stands with India at this moment. We oppose all types of terrorism, extremism and fanaticism. Singapore’s embassy has also denounced the attack.
